In the heart of Verona’s historic center, within the evocative Palazzo Reggiani, an apartment takes shape as a perfect example of how historical respect can be harmonized with contemporary, elegant, and functional interior design. The project’s protagonist is Fietta Prestige, which crafted every piece of furniture to measure, with a tailor-made approach that enhances the property’s identity and meets modern living needs.
The apartment stands out for its close attention to the original architectural context. Exposed wooden beams, sloped ceilings, historical masonry, and arched openings have been carefully preserved, becoming the ideal backdrop for custom-made furnishings designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing elements. Fietta Prestige’s work does not overwhelm but engages in dialogue, creating a space where every detail tells a story of care, balance, and beauty.
The color palette plays on the contrast between the warm materiality of antique wood and the intensity of burgundy and ivory. The ruby red velvet sofa is the heart of the living area: cozy and theatrical, it brings warmth to the space and invites conviviality. Echoing the same intense hue, the dining chairs surround a table with a sculptural marble and metal base—an authentic piece of contemporary art.
The burnished bronze TV cabinet introduces an elegant, industrial texture, creating a refined play of light and reflections. The kitchen, with its curved ivory lacquered volumes and golden accents, integrates seamlessly into the space thanks to the continuity of its lines and high-quality materials. The smoked glass backsplash and LED lighting provide depth and a scenographic yet discreet effect.
Fietta Prestige has always worked with a philosophy rooted in craftsmanship, focused on customization, quality, and durability. Each piece was custom designed to respond to the specific characteristics of the home. Kitchens and concealed wardrobes follow the walls’ layout, while bathroom furnishings and accessories are conceived to enhance niches, openings, and irregular transitions.
Noble materials such as solid wood, polished marble, velvet, and matte lacquers come together in a coherent, elegant whole that is both warm and welcoming. The skillful use of both natural and artificial lighting completes the sensory living experience.
The bedrooms, immersed in silence and natural light, continue the project’s narrative thread. Double beds with padded and backlit headboards create a floating effect that invites relaxation. The twin rooms, with single beds upholstered in burgundy faux leather and integrated lighting, are designed for maximum functionality without compromising on style.
Even in these spaces, the original beamed ceilings and natural oak floors converse with essential yet refined furnishings, designed to ensure timeless beauty and practicality.
The apartment also includes a charming attic space, transformed into a relaxation or study area, with low, rounded furnishings in matte cream lacquer. The soft lines and lightweight materials enhance the light entering through the skylight, making this a cozy and evocative space.
The experience is completed by the internal courtyard, a reserved and curated green corner evoking the atmosphere of ancient cloisters. The stone well and gravel paving harmonize with wrought iron railings and historic balconies in a vision of harmony that only Verona can offer.
