Architect Olena Nagorna
In the heart of Paris, within a high-end residential setting, a private apartment was the subject of a significant interior design intervention. The project, developed by an architecture studio, included the production and installation of all bespoke furnishings by Fietta Prestige — an Italian company specialized in custom furniture for luxury residences, hospitality, and contract projects.
A key element of the project was the seamless dialogue between the design studio and the technical-production team responsible for the furnishings. From the preliminary phase, close collaboration enabled the translation of the aesthetic and functional aspects of the concept into feasible construction elements, while preserving the original design identity.
Each room was approached with an integrated workflow, requiring detailed on-site surveys, 3D modeling, structural checks, and continuous executive planning. The complexity stemmed not only from the geometries or materials involved but above all from the high level of customization required: every piece of furniture was designed and crafted to fit the existing spaces with millimetric precision.
The intervention covered the entire apartment, including the living area, bedrooms, bathrooms, and service spaces. Material selection was carried out in close collaboration with the architect, with particular attention to visual coherence, chromatic harmony across the different areas, and long-term durability.
Materials used included: high-gloss and matte lacquers, selected wood veneers with continuous grain, natural and composite marble surfaces, brushed metal finishes, and stain-resistant technical fabrics for upholstered items. Each element underwent sampling tests to ensure visual fidelity and adequate performance in terms of resistance and maintenance.
The technical aspect played a central role, especially concerning the integration of systems, smart home devices, and lighting solutions. Backlit boiserie, concealed compartments, and custom interior fittings were all designed with a focus on daily usability while maintaining a high level of aesthetic refinement.
Particular attention was paid to the kitchen area, where handle-less cabinet systems, tall units with built-in appliances, and glass finishes required extremely tight tolerances and meticulous on-site installation. The dining area’s chairs and tables, designed to the studio’s specifications, were crafted to offer both stability and everyday comfort, while perfectly aligning with the project’s overall style.
The site, managed on a tight schedule, required precise logistical planning for the shipment and assembly of the furnishings directly in Paris. All components were pre-assembled, tested, and carefully packed at our production facility, then transported and installed on-site by our specialized team.
Installation was carried out in multiple phases, in coordination with other contractors working on-site, with ongoing quality control and the flexibility to handle any micro-adjustments required during the process. Attention to detail extended beyond visible elements to include technical and system components, which are now seamlessly integrated and invisible to the end user.
This project represents a concrete example of how collaboration between architects and bespoke furniture manufacturers can generate environments of high aesthetic and technical value. For design studios, relying on partners capable of understanding construction logic and transforming ideas into tangible results is essential to ensure the success of the final outcome.
In international contexts, where geographical distance might pose a challenge, it is crucial to rely on a solid partner able to coordinate all phases — from survey to installation — with expertise and flexibility. Attention to detail, problem-solving during execution, and a focus on overall project quality are the core values of this residential contract approach.
